Spuzz, are you talking about the size of the MPEG-2 file? It definitely won't fit on one CD-R. The MPEG-4 files will.

I did digitize the MPEG-2 so that it will fit on a DVD-R though.

I'd be interested to hear what folks have to say.

I've downloaded the MPEG-2 versions of both "Gunsmoke Ranch" and "Machine Gun Mama". Machine Gun Mama has been copied in MPEG-2 format to DVD-RW and viewed with several pc players. Works and looks GREAT. I have also transcoded Machine Gun Mama into DVD-VIDEO format (VOB) and saved to DVD-R for viewing on a standalone DVD player and TV. Again, all works and looks GREAT!

As far as to the size of the MPEG-2 files, 1 or 2 postings is fine here, just please don't cut the full video size, or quality.

Thanks IronButt

In case of Machine Gun Mama,I downloaded the MPEG4 version and viewing in WindowsMedia Player and found the picture quality quite satisfactory. I could burn six similar movies to one CD. With gunsmoke ranch, I downloaded the MPG1 version and when viewed in WMP , found quality slighter better and could burn three similar films to one CD
